Two 17 m hybrid pilot vessels.
Hybrid propulsion, vessel automation and remote monitoring delivered as one turnkey system.
Propulsion
Parallel hybrid.
Parallel hybrid on two shaft lines, each driven either by a Volvo Penta D16 diesel or by a Danfoss electric motor through a Twin Disc hybrid gearbox, drawing on 240 kWh of EST-Floattech storage. Keeping the diesels mechanically on the propellers preserves the full 25-knot service speed and open-water range. In electric mode the vessel operates at up to ten knots in harbour and covers roughly fifteen nautical miles at seven knots. The motors double as shaft generators, so the batteries recharge underway without a separate charging set.
